Do you fancy yourself a Sherlock Holmes? Are you convinced that you'd make an excellent detective? If so, you'll want to mark your calendar for June 29th, because the most incredible live murder mystery game is coming to town.
This virtual murder mystery game has been played in cities all over the world, and it's coming to Salt Lake City this summer.
Gather together a team of friends, choose a team name (this is the Go-Go Gadgets team in Cardiff), and coordinate some costumes.
That's right - people have a blast dressing up for this event. It got its start in the UK, and those crazy Brits set the precedent for some truly inspirational outfits.
Detectives of all ages...
...and species are welcome to help your team solve the case.
Using a special phone app, you'll be directed to clues throughout the city. Check out the crime scene, and start following clues and talking to virtual witnesses.
You'll end up in some weird places...
...and do some super sleuthing in spots you've never visited, but by the end of the game, your team will have ruled out suspects and weapons until you're able to identify the killer.
Are you ready to crack the case? The game takes place in Salt Lake City on June 29, 2019. You can get started any time between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and you'll finish up no later than 5 p.m.. It takes most teams around 2.5 hours from start to finish.
Teams consist of two to six players and the cost is just $46 per team to play. You'll need access to a smartphone (iOS or Android). Prizes are awarded for categories such as Fastest Team, Best Fancy Dress, Best Team Photo, Best Little Detective, and Best K-9 Detective.
