Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Chocolate Factory Tour In Utah Is Everything You’ve Dreamed Of And More

Utah is the perfect place to be if you love chocolate. While there are several fabulous chocolate shops all around the Beehive State, there is one that not only sells delicious chocolates, but you can also see how these sweet treats are made! Mrs. Cavanaugh’s is one of the best chocolate shops in Utah. With several locations all around the Beehive State, it is easy to check this place out for yourself.

Mrs. Cavanaugh’s is a family-owned and operated chocolate shop that has been serving incredible sweets since 1964. Several generations have worked hard throughout the years to ensure that every piece of chocolate is made to perfection.

Mrs. Cavanaugh's features five retail shops in Utah — one in Bountiful, Layton, North Ogden, and Orem. However, for a little different experience, the North Salt Lake destination is the place to go.
The North Salt Lake location features a retail store in front and a factory in the back. The retail store is where you can find all types of sweet treats from chocolates and toffee to clusters and caramels.

In fact, Mrs. Cavanaugh’s is well known for its caramel apples, truffles, peanut brittle, and caramels.

But, you can then step into the back to take a factory tour and see for yourself how these incredible treats are made. The tours last approximately 45 minutes and you will get a first-hand look at how the chocolates are created.

You’ll even get a chance to sample the chocolates on your way.

Factory tours are available Monday through Friday and cost $5 per person. However, you will receive a voucher that you can use to purchase chocolates in the store that day.
