Plan A Visit To This Magical Little Utah Park Before The Snow Flies
The Beehive State has no shortage of wilderness places where you can get up close and personal with Mother Nature, but you don’t always have to go far afield to find natural beauty. Here’s a little park right in Ogden that will enchant and delight you…and make you feel as though you’re far from the city.
Beus Pond Park is located at 4240 Country Hills Drive in Ogden, just east of the Dee Events Center.
Fall is the perfect time to visit this little gem. If you can go during the day on a weekday, it's pretty quiet. Weekends are a little busier, but still well worth the trip.
While it's certainly tempting, please don't feed the ducks and geese, especially if you love to see those little duckling and goslings in the spring. Bread attracts seagulls, who love to swoop down and gobble up them up.
Spend an afternoon picnicking, relaxing and enjoying the wildlife at Beus Pond Park, but please make sure to pick up after yourself and your kids before you leave. Let's keep this little park pristine for everyone to enjoy!
