The World’s Best Lobster Roll Can Be Found Right Here In… Utah?

Generally speaking, when it comes to lobster rolls we almost always associate this classic New England dish with our states that fall along the East Coast. But what if I were to tell you that the winner of a recent Portland, Maine Lobster Roll Festival managed to come from a business based out of Utah? This is an unexpected win that’s surprised everyone – find out what makes these lobster rolls the world’s best below!

Organized by Down East magazine, Portland, Maine held its first ever Lobster Roll Festival this past weekend!

Determined the winner by a panel of judges, Freshies Lobster Co. of Park City, Utah took home the title of World's Best Lobster Roll!

A panel made up of food writers and lobsterman determined that the owners of Freshies (who are originally from the New England area) knew exactly what they were doing when they were creating this phenomenal sandwich.

Made up of both a restaurant as well as a food truck, the landlocked-based business brings a non-native dish to Utah that people just can't resist.
