There's A Tequila Train In California And You'll Want To Climb Aboard

If you’ve ever wanted to combine a picturesque train ride through the countryside with a side of quality spirits, you’re in luck. The Napa Valley Wine Train is launching a new Tequila Train experience that will let you do just that.

This train ride is all about enjoying the rolling vineyards and lovely towns of Napa Valley with a glass of quality tequila in your hand. In fact, you actually get four glasses. Each paired with gourmet fare. Yes.

The tequila on offer is from Casa Dragones, an independent small-batch producer from Mexico. Opera has actually admitted this is one of her favorite tequila brands.

The train itself is also a showstopper. Guests will be riding in style on the 1915 vintage rail car with live music and plush seating. The goodies on offer will include tortilla soup, rubbed flat iron steak, orange mojo chicken with Mayan rice queso fresco, and tres leches for dessert.

The total journey is about 36 miles round-trip and will take passengers through downtown Nape to St. Helana and the charming towns of Oak Knoll, Yountville, Oakville, and Rutherford.

Tickets are currently on sale for $295 per person, and the first ride is on May 5. You’re guaranteed to have a unique experience, as this scenic train ride is the first of its kind. Of course, any train can be a tequila train with the right attitude.
