The Remains Of An Abandoned Reniassance Festival Are Decaying Deep In The Woods

This incredible abandoned Renaissance village is located deep in the woods, and looks like something out of a storybook. The decaying moats and spires of the town are absolutely stunning, even after years of neglect. This beautiful fair was only open for three years, from 1996 to 1999.

Nature has rapidly overtaken the carefully crafted wooden buildings, giving the area an enchanted air.

It feels like a cursed town straight out of a fairytale.

The small homes were once used to sell crafts and food. Some hosted activities like archery and knife throwing competitions.

The castle spires are particularly impressive.

There's even a stunning, full-size pirate ship that's decaying in a really creepy way.
