Spring has sprung and its time to celebrate with a visit to one of America’s beautiful public gardens – no ticket needed! Mark your calendar for May 11 to enjoy free entry to more than 150 gardens across the country.

For one day only, you can enjoy free admission to places like the Smithsonian Gardens in Washington D.C., Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle, and Queens Botanical Garden in New York. The timing is perfect, as many of these gardens will be in peak bloom on May 11.

The celebration is in honor of National Public Gardens Day, and visitors will also be able to enjoy activities like special guided tours and contests in the gardens. Gift shops will also be offering discounts.
