Located in the Ohio countryside, this forgotten greenhouse is teeming with lush plant life.
The business went bankrupt after a valve mishap sent water seeping into local residents’ homes.
The forest has invaded the glass structure, even while the plant life within has overflowed into the woods.
There’s so much color in this glittering enclosure, giving it the appearance of an emerald in the wild.
The greenery has even bubbled up out of the ceiling like a green froth.
Ivy twists around old metal beams, and vibrant leaves coat the walls like bright paint.
Nearby, a vintage automobile is languishing under the canopy of leaves.
Some areas of the greenhouse are so overgrown that they are dark and almost forbidding.
It’s incredible that so much of the glass has remained unbroken.
The old equipment once used to tend the greenhouse is still in place.
Even the business’s old truck is still parked right where it was left.
It's fascinating to imagine what this place must have been like once upon a time.
There are so many abandoned gems like this greenhouse hidden in the countryside. Check out Johnny Joo’s new book
