It’s no secret that some of the best national parks in the country are in Alaska. Probably the best-known of the state’s eight great national parks is Denali National Park, home to Mount Denali, the tallest peak in North America.

What are some of the best hiking trails in Alaska?

Alaska is a hard landscape that can be difficult for novice adventurers. You want to make sure that you are capable before attempting any of the hikes here. The temperatures, harsh landscape, and wild predators all make hiking in Alaska quite dangerous at times. Still, there are some fantastic hiking trails in Alaska that are among the most beautiful in the country, so if you feel up for the challenge, definitely go for it!

There are so many great day trips in Alaska that it can be absolutely overwhelming! Chasing the Northern Lights is one of our very favorite activities. They’re more visible in Alaska than they are in most places in the continental United States, so it’s really the ideal spot to see them!
