An unforgettable place worth exploring, the island has freshwater lakes, dunes, marshes, and all sorts of scenery you'd never expect to find all in the same place. To get to the island, visitors can take a 45-minute ferry ride that's open every day from March through the end of December, running during five days of the week in the offseason.
