About 65 miles from Grand Teton National Park is the famous Yellowstone National Park, mostly in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, but also spreading to Montana and Idaho. The nearly 3,500-square-mile wilderness sits on top of a volcanic hot spot, and features Old Faithful, a cone geyser that has erupted every 44 minutes to two hours since 2000.
