How well do you know Washington? Even if you consider yourself an Evergreen State expert, you might not be aware of some peaceful hidden hot springs you’ll find less than 30 miles from the freeway in Western Washington. They’re one of the Pacific Northwest’s most hidden gems.
Goldmyer Hot Springs is a small piece of wilderness nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains about 25 miles east of North Bend.
To reach the springs, you’ll have to go on a lengthy hike through some deep woods.
The route to Goldmyer Hot Springs is a delightful forest walk along the Snoqualmie River. The easiest way to get there is to park at the Pratt Connector Trail parking lot and take the trail for the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Upstream.
Amenities at Goldmyer are limited, but you’ll find everything you need.
There are campsites with food hanging lines and containers, outhouses, picnic tables and hot spring pool with open-air cabanas.
Guests are expected to pack their own supplies in and out.
Always leave this beautiful place like you found it.
Goldmyer is privately owned by a nonprofit called Northwest Wilderness Programs. Reservations are highly recommended.

Only 20 people are allowed to camp there per day, and hiking miles only to be turned away for lack of room would be brutal. Reservations can be made at goldmyer.org.
This pristine place is surrounded by ancient forests with trees that are over 900 years old. It is totally isolated.
Live-in caretakers do stay on the property to check on visitors and perform any necessary maintenance.
Did you know about Goldmyer Hot Springs? We can definitely add it to the list of Washington’s hidden gems.
