We have featured the famous fry pies from Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies in the previous articles but did you know you can now get them in northeastern Oklahoma at The Fried Pie Shack in Broken Arrow? It's true and we couldn't be more excited! This adorable food truck serves the same fried pies you would find at the original Arbuckle Mountain location in Davis, so don't worry you're getting the same century-old recipe Oklahomans have fallen in love with. Plus, you can hire them for private events and impress your guests with the most delicious and popular dessert in the Sooner State.
On most days, you can find The Fried Pie Shack at 809 North Sycamore Avenue in Broken Arrow. They do have pop-up locations on select days, so be sure and check their website or Facebook page before visiting.
The food truck makes the same sweet, creamy, and savory fried pies as the original Arbuckle Fried Pies.
They also offer online ordering for pick-up at their Broken Arrow location. The menu is a little smaller than the Arbuckle location but we are just so happy we can get these tasty desserts without making the trip to Davis. But, the drive is still worth it!
If you've never had one of their breakfast or meat pies, they make a great breakfast and you can order ahead (or, maybe even grab some for the office).
The packaging is even the same as the original location. They have several flavors all hot and ready to go, so you normally don't have to wait long to get your hands on these delicious pies.
In case you're wondering, the fries aren't shipped frozen from Davis, they are hand-made in Broken Arrow.
You really can't go wrong with any flavor but a fan favorite is the blackberry.
