The restaurant in this little shopping cluster, Das Dutch Haus Restaurant, has delighted diners since the 1980s.
Since opening in 1982, Das Dutch Haus Restaurant has amassed quite a following. For many heading into Amish Country, this quaint country kitchen is the first stop on their road trip.
This restaurant started with just enough seating for 60 patrons. Now, it can comfortable accommodate up to 450.
Both the atmosphere and the food at Das Dutch Haus Restaurant are responsible for this growth. The coziness of the dining room is perfect for families, and the menu is a true treat for your taste buds.
The food here follows the Pennsylvania Dutch tradition of serving up homemade country-style dining.
Made-from-scratch meals delight visitors and offer a dose of nostalgia. After all, the roast turkey, baked bread, and yummy soups taste just like meals that grandma used to make.
And the dining space, though fairly wide open, is super cozy.
This space, as you may have guessed, is large enough to include a generous buffet. A Country Breakfast Buffet is served on weekdays until 11:30 a.m. and on Saturdays until 12:30 p.m.

Das Dutch Village includes all sorts of incredible gift shops. Anything you may hope to pick up in Amish Country can be found here, and a few eclectic surprises await visitors as well.
