North Dakota is one of the most peaceful states there is. The charming town of Elgin, North Dakota is located in Grant County in the south central region of the state.
The town has a population of just over 640 and it was founded in 1910. The name came from the back of a pocket watch a citizen owned.
Elgin's motto is "small-town living at its best," and that certainly is true! You get all the great amenities without all the hustle and bustle of a city, and that even includes things like a hospital.
Elgin has many beautiful spots throughout and around town, as well as many family-owned businesses that help the community thrive.
Not only is the town itself a lovely sight, it is also located right near Lake Tschida. This place is a fantastic recreational hub for fishing, boating, and more.
Needless to say, Elgin has it all when it comes to peacefulness, location, and having everything you need available -
