1. Indulge in a true farm-to-table 4-course meal.
Dine inside a beautiful rustic barn at Claverach Farm in Eureka, which is located right at the foothills of the Ozarks.
2. Spend the night at this former schoolhouse.
Once a schoolhouse, Arcadia Valley Academy is now a full-service bed and breakfast. Spend the night or just head there for the day to enjoy a meal at Thee Abbey Kitchen.
3. Feel like a kid again at the World's Largest Toy Museum.
Travel back in time when you visit this ginormous toy museum in Branson. It's home to over 1 million toys, some of which date back to as far the 1700s.
4. Get spooked while visiting this haunted town.
The spookiest of adventures would have to be a trip to the small town of Potosi. A few of their oldest properties are so eerie, that even the Paranormal Task Force came in for an investigation.
5. Take a tour of an old lead mine.
The Bonne Terre Mine used to world's largest producer of lead, until it shut down in 1962. Today, visitors can walk through the tunnels, take a boat tour or even scuba dive.
6. Sip your way through Missouri's very own wine trail.
You may want to block out a whole weekend to enjoy all of what Missouri's wine trail in and around Hermann has to offer. The entire trail is comprised of 10 different wineries, which means there are lots of samplings to be had.
7. Visit the most unique playground in Missouri.
The City Museum in St. Louis can be enjoyed by both the young and old. Unlike most museums, you're encouraged to interact with all of the pieces and working art on display, all 600,000 square feet of it.
8. Explore Missouri's hidden Middle Earth.
Not to brag, but the Mark Twain National Forest may just be the most beautiful national forest there is. And it also might remind you of The Lord of Rings story just a bit.

Once the weather starts to warm up, there's no better place to kayak than on the beautiful Current River.

O'Malley's in Weston is considered to be the oldest operating pub in Missouri. But what really draws guests in, is its unique underground setting.
