Welcome to Belleville! A little town in north central Kansas that's full of charm and that Kansas attitude.
They've got a little under 2,000 residents, but don't let that turn you away. Small towns like this are the heart of Kansas, and part of what makes us unique.
Walking down the scenic Main Street, you're able to browse local businesses and explore their history.
There's a walking tour with four kiosks around the courthouse square that detail each area of Belleville's founding history, such as agriculture and transportation.
One of the top attractions in Belleville is definitely one-of-a-kind.
The Boyer Museum of Animated Carvings is a stunning display of one man's dedication to his mechanical and artistic talents. Of course, the figures here are a little odd, but they're entertaining for sure.
Plus, there's always somewhere to sit and enjoy a hearty, delicious meal.
A few of their top restaurants include The Dinner Bell, The After Five Sports Bar & Grill, and Bel Villa Family Dining. All of them are worth trying, so maybe you'll have to stay for a while after all!
