The Peach State has a dining scene second to none. The foodie scene is nationally renowned here, and it's no secret that you'll find exquisite restaurants in our large cities like Atlanta and Macon. However, anyone that's spent much time in the state knows there are also plenty of amazing rural restaurants in Georgia that provide incredible meals served up in more modest surroundings. One of our favorites is Joedy's Seafood Restaurant in Alma, GA. This little city in Bacon County has a population of under 4,000 and it epitomizes the entire South Georgia region, with a strong agricultural industry and a great small-town feel you just can't find elsewhere. Alma is pretty far from the coast, but you'll find a menu full of seafood delights to please any palate.
