These U.S. Airlines Have The Best Frequent Flier Programs of 2018
A new study from WalletHub has revealed the top rewards program among U.S. airlines.
If you’re an avid traveler, you probably have dipped your toes into the world of frequent flier programs. Dedicated travelers can amass points or miles that allow them to nab everything from seat upgrades to free flights. Each airline has a slightly different system, which can make deciding where to spend your money (and accrue bonuses) a bit confusing.
If you like to fly Delta, you’re in luck – it seems that the Delta SkyMiles program has come out on top according to the research. WalletHub has proclaimed that the Delta program offers the best value for people who fly an “average” amount.
The research also suggests that Southwest’s program is best for people who don’t fly all that much, while JetBlue’s loyalty system will mostly benefit those who fly a whole bunch.
Here’s how U.S. airlines’ frequent flier programs stack up in terms of payoff for the average traveler:
1. Delta Air Lines
2. Alaska Airlines
3. Hawaiian Airlines
4. American Airlines
5. United Airlines
6. JetBlue Airways
7. Southwest Airlines
8. Sun Country Airlines
9. Frontier Airlines
10. Spirit Airlines
