You May Soon See More Security Dogs Than Ever When You Travel
Recently we talked about how purchasing TSA’s PreCheck program is worth every penny if you’re interested in getting through airport security faster. But now according to TSA chief David Pekoske, the administration may be rolling out another security measure that would make getting through the airport’s long lines a more speedy experience. Keep reading to find out what TSA has planned!

In an effort to make getting through airport security lines a less less painful, TSA is currently toying with the idea of adding yet another security line to airports. TSA Chief David Pekoske said that the administration hopes to add more dogs to its agency. While it hasn’t been announced how travelers would be chosen, some people would get sniffed out and swept by TSA dogs, and would then be able to move to a separate security line that would be much faster than the rest.
As of right now, TSA says that they plan to start testing the new program at the end of 2018 and continue testing through early 2019 to see if it's worth permanently adding to airports. Pekoske also said the ultimate goal is to have travelers sign up and opt for their PreCheck program that involves better security and convenience.
