A New Report Shows That People In These States Travel The Most
Ever wonder how much traveling your neighbors are doing? Turns out, it might depend on where you live.
A new report from Project: Time Off, a a U.S. Travel Association campaign that aims to educate Americans about the importance of taking vacations, has revealed which states travel the most and the least.

According to Project: Time Off, the average American takes 17 days off of work per year. In Colorado, the average person takes a full 20.3 days off per year. Virginia and Arizona also scored top marks with 19 vacation days taken per year on average.
Montana was revealed as the state with the worst vacation habits: residents claimed just 16.3 days of vacation per year. Delaware and Rhode Island residents didn’t prove themselves much better at kicking back with just 16.5 days of vacation per person per year on average.

Of course, not everyone uses their vacation days to actually take a vacation. Virginia is the best in the nation at using their time off to travel – 64 percent of their vacation days are spent away from home. Compare that South Dakota, where just 26-percent of days off are used for travel.
Sounds like we could all stand to spend a bit more time poolside rather than deskside.
