This Luxury Space Hotel May Start Welcoming Guests As Soon As 2022

Have you always dreamed of setting sail for the stars as an astronaut? You may soon get your chance, provided you have some serious spare pocket change

Orion Span is a U.S. company claiming to be on track for opening the world’s first luxury space hotel in just three short years. Known as the Aurora Station, this hotel is projected to launch into orbit in 2021 and be ready to entertain guests in 2022.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

The hotel will be able to host four guests and two crew members at a time. It will float above Earth at a height of 200 miles and orbit our home planet every 90 minutes, allowing guests to check out 16 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours.

In order to book your stay, you’ll have to undergo three months of training to prepare for life on the station. Once aboard, you can expect treats like zero-gravity ping pong, a flight over your hometown, and plenty of top-quality space food.

What’s the catch? Each ticket will cost $9.5 million, so start saving your pennies now.
