This Small Southern Town Is The Perfect Destination To Celebrate Fourth Of July

While you might be tempted to head to a major city to celebrate July 4th with an epic fireworks display, you shouldn’t rule out some of America’s smaller towns. Take Savannah, Georgia for example. Things might be a bit slower in this southern town, but the vibe is relaxed, this history is fascinating, and the food is unmistakably delicious. What more could you want from your holiday?

Fourth of July is bound to be a busy time for Savannah, but you won't find the crowds that you will in the nation's larger cities. Instead, opt for a stroll around the famous Forsyth Park and admire live oak trees that are over a century old.
