The Newest Star Wars Ride At Disneyland Might Be Almost 30 Minutes Long

With lines at Disney parks frequently stretching for what seems like miles, it’s good to know the park is trying to make sure guests get their money’s worth.

The ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is scheduled to open at Disneyland’s new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Park. The ride is said to feature more than 300 animatronic figures and may even last as long as 28 minutes. Considering that many Disney rides only last two or three minutes on average, this makes the Star Wars ride one of the longest around.

Park representatives say that the ride will immerse guests in the story of the Resistance and the First Order. In a teaser video for the ride, Scott Trowbridge, Creative Executive of Disney Imagineering, calls the ride “the most epic attraction we’ve ever built.”

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is slated to open sometime in the fall of 2019.
