This New York Airport Is Getting A Rooftop Pool Just In Time For Summer

Wouldn’t it be nice to slip into a cool swimming pool after your stuffy long-haul flight? Well, if you’re headed to this New York City airport this summer, you may just get your wish.

The TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy Airport has just announced that they will be installing an infinity pool will gorgeous views of the runway. The pool will be open all year long and will also offer an observation deck so aviation enthusiasts can check out incoming and outgoing flights.

The pool water will be heated to a steamy 100 degrees and will be self-purifying. Best of all, you’ll be able to access these turquoise waters as soon as May 15, 2019.

Of course, the pool will be accessible to TWA Hotel guests free of charge. However, anyone can visit the pool for a dip as long as they make a reservation. That means that passengers stuck with a long layover at JFK will be able to pass the time swimming and sipping cocktails at the pool’s bar and kitchen. Sounds like the perfect airport perk!
