American Airlines will no longer be providing its customers with complimentary Bose noise-canceling headphones. These headphones are beloved by first and international business class fliers because of their superior ability to muffle the noise of the plane and cabin.

The carrier has explained that it will be replacing the premium Bose Quiet Comfort headphones with a Bang & Olufsen model. These headphones retail for about $500 and are still considered very high quality, but customers are lamenting the loss of their complimentary Bose gear.
