A Stunning Meteor Shower Is Happening Soon Over The U.S And Here’s Where You Can Watch
Star-gazing enthusiasts will want to mark their calendar for the night of November 17th, 2017. At approximately midnight, a meteor shower will bring countless shooting stars into view. And the spectacle happens to align with a new moon, meaning the sky will be especially dark and the stars particularly visible. If you can brace the chilly evening air, you’re in for a magical performance.

The shooting stars are classified as Leonids due to their location in the night sky near the constellation, Leo.

As the Earth collides with this debris in its natural orbit, the particles will ignite and create the illusion of magnificent shooting stars.

Officials believe that during its peak, the meteor shower will last a full half hour. So be sure to bring a cup of coffee as you enjoy this magical spectacle.
