What Life Is Like Inside The Least Stressed Out City In America

Fremont, California is the least stressed city in America, according to a new study by WalletHub.

After analyzing data taken from more than 180 cities across the nation, researchers determined that the San Fransisco Bay Area city was the most chilled out in America.

With an expanding population of about 230,000 people and a prime location, Fremont attracts plenty of tech workers and engineers.

The WalletHub study determined that Fremont has a great work-stress ranking of 72 out of 182 and an extremely good family-stress ranking of 167. Fremont also has the second-best health and safety ranking in the nation and the best financial stress ranking in America.

The data the study used to create its rankings included work-related factors such as average weekly work hours, average commute time, and job satisfaction.

The study also looked at financial stressors like food insecurity, median credit score, and the share of households behind on bills the past 12 months. Heath data like depression rates and family data like the strength of social ties were also considered at.
