Hyatt Is Acquiring Dozens Of Glamorous And Affordable Hotels Next Year

One of the world’s largest hotel chains is about to get even bigger. Hyatt Hotels has just announced its acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality, which manages over 85 resorts and hotels across the globe. Some of the company’s properties include Joie de Vivre Hotels, Thompson Hotels, Destination Hotels, and Alila Hotels & Resorts.

By scooping up Two Roads Hospitality, Hyatt will be allowing World of Hyatt loyalty members to begin earning points towards deals at its newest properties. This could mean massive savings for customers and a big paycheck for Hyatt.

Though the hotel chain has not released a full list of the properties it will be taking over, guests can bet on seeing a mix of upscale and more affordable hotels. The transition is expected to occur later this year, with the World of Hyatt program being rolled out for the new hotels in 2019.
