It’s official: Minnesota has been named the happiest state in America. WalletHub just released the results of a study that compared the economic, emotional, physical and social health of the 50 states and the Land of 10,000 Lakes came out on top. While that might not be surprising news to Minnesotans,

The states were ranked across 28 key metrics that included everything from depression rates to sports participation to income growth. Minnesota nabbed the number one spot, followed closely by Utah and Hawaii. The state had some of the top scores for emotional and physical well-being, work environment, community and environment.

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

Of course, satisfaction is subjective and can vary greatly between individuals. While the recipe for happiness can be hard to pin down, Minnesotans seem to have at least cracked some of the code.
