One of New York City’s most iconic landmarks is set to become even more spectacular.

The Empire State Building is known for putting on dazzling light shows for holidays, special events and charitable causes. Now, you’ll be able to catch a bit of that stunning glitter each and every night.

Just last week, CEO of Empire State Realty Trust Anthony E. Malkin announced that the tower will now put on a nightly light show from sunset till 2 a.m. The building will glimmer every hour for a full five minutes in addition to glowing with steady colored lights after dark.

This will be a permanent feature that’s sure to add even more magic to the NYC skyline. It also means that this beloved landmark is now the city’s biggest and brightest clock.
