Drinks Are Getting More Expensive On Yet Another U.S. Airline

Hold on to your wallet – drinks are about to get more expensive on yet another U.S. airline.

Passengers flying with Delta can now expect to pay $1 more for all alcoholic beverages, except for sparkling wine. Be prepared to pay $9 for cocktails, $9 for liquor, $8 for a domestic beer, $9 for a glass of wine, and $9 for a craft or imported beer.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! If those prices irk you, there is a solution, albeit a more expensive one. Guests traveling on the Delta Comfort+ tier can still enjoy complimentary beer, wine, and cocktails.

American Airlines and Southwest Airlines have also recently upped the price of their in-flight beverages, so pricy libations appear to be the new normal in the air.
