Drinks Are Getting More Expensive On Yet Another U.S. Airline
Hold on to your wallet – drinks are about to get more expensive on yet another U.S. airline.
Passengers flying with Delta can now expect to pay $1 more for all alcoholic beverages, except for sparkling wine. Be prepared to pay $9 for cocktails, $9 for liquor, $8 for a domestic beer, $9 for a glass of wine, and $9 for a craft or imported beer.
If those prices irk you, there is a solution, albeit a more expensive one. Guests traveling on the Delta Comfort+ tier can still enjoy complimentary beer, wine, and cocktails.
American Airlines and Southwest Airlines have also recently upped the price of their in-flight beverages, so pricy libations appear to be the new normal in the air.
