Disney Is Building A Massive New Hotel And It Looks Like Paradise

Disney has just announced plans to build its first new resort hotel in almost 20 years. And according to details released by the Disney Parks Blog, it’s going to be absolutely gorgeous.

The hotel will be located in the Anaheim, California theme park and will offer 700 guest rooms. The hotel is still unnamed, but Disney has stated that it will feature “extensive landscaping and water elements [that] will create a resort oasis, showcasing nature on every level of the hotel. The hotel’s location embraces the iconic Disneyland Monorail with a dedicated platform inside the hotel for direct transport into Disneyland park.”

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! While it seems like this hotel is going to be absolutely stunning, there’s still no word on what the resort’s theme will be. As all Disney hotels have a theme, it’s safe to say that this one will be no different.

In addition to the dazzling new resort, Disneyland will also be adding lots of new parking options for all those guests visiting the park for the new Galaxy’s Edge (a.k.a Star Wars Land) attraction.

The hotel will likely be operational by 2021, but you can bet that the reservation line will be open even before the hotel.
