Disney Is Building A Nature Resort And It Looks Positively Magical

If you’ve ever wanted to combine your love of the outdoors with your love of all things Disney, you’ll soon get your chance.

The Happiest Place On Earth recently announced that a new “nature-inspired, mixed-use Disney resort” is coming to the shoreline of Bay Lake in Florida.

Though details about the new property are limited, Disney’s press release confirmed that the resort will be located between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and will feature more than 900 rooms that incorporate nature in some way.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

A Disney executive also revealed that the resort “will be a celebration of Walt Disney’s lifelong love and respect for nature, with some fun and even surprising accommodation types that families will find irresistible.”

Sound like your ideal vacation spot? Don’t grab your credit card just yet – you won’t be able to check out this nature resort until it’s completed in 2022.
