The New Museum In Los Angeles That Will Make Your Stomach Turn
At Only In Your State, we love to hear about the latest attractions that have opened up around the country, and we try to keep all of our wonderful readers in the loop about what there is to do here in the U.S. Over the last several years, we’ve seen delicious destinations like the Museum of Ice Cream show up around America, but our newest food-based museum is one that won’t exactly make you feel hungry. In fact, it might make you nauseous.

Opening in Los Angeles on December 9th, the Disgusting Food Museum will be taking up residence in California for the next three months. Staying on the West Coast until February 17th, the Disgusting Food Museum is originally based out of Sweden, and it's now coming over to the states to share its collection of food with us Americans.
It costs $15 to enter on weekdays and $18 on weekends. You can have a ball debating with friends and family over what foods in the museum you would eat and which ones aren’t exactly up your alley. On display, you’ll see less jaw-dropping pieces like Root Beer and Jell-O Salad, but you’ll also stumble across more alarming food items like cooked guinea pigs and actually fried tarantulas. Eek!
