This Unsuspecting U.S. City Now Has Direct Flights To Iceland
If there’s one destination at the top of everyone’s travel bucket list, it’s Iceland. With its glaciers, epic waterfalls, and the allure of the Northern Lights, the appeal of this Nordic island is obvious. Thanks to an expanded tourism initiative and added airlines, flying to Iceland has never been so easy. In fact, a new direct flight is now available from a rather unsuspecting U.S. location: Kansas City. So next time you’re in the heart of America, you may just find yourself tempted to hop a plane to the Land of Fire and Ice.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Residents and visitors of Kansas City are just a flight away from the marvels of one of the most sought-after countries for travelers.
Not only does this direct flight indicate increased tourism, it could also pave the way for additional trade and business opportunities between the U.S. and Europe.
