Delta’s New Planes Will Make Flying In Economy Way Better
Delta’s new fleet of Airbus A220-100 planes will make even the cheapest seats in the house feel a bit more like first class. The airline’s new planes will debut in January 2019 and offer plenty of fancy new upgrades.
First of all, the planes will come equipped with the widest seats in the airline industry. Economy seats will be 18.6 inches wide and first class seats will be 20.1 inches wide. The lavatories will be also getting their own window, which will add some much-needed light to what are essentially toilet-closets.
Passengers can also expect high-resolution screens on the back of every seat and complimentary in-flight entertainment. There will also be Gogo-powered 2Ku Wi-Fi, which is the latest and strongest in-air Wi-Fi available.
Additionally, the planes will be decked out in stylish LED lighting and offer in-seat charging ports.
You can fly in these new planes as soon as January 31, so grab your tickets soon. For more information, visit Delta’s website here.
