London may have taken home the top spot globally when it comes to being the city with the highest number of bars, but when you take a look at what’s going on over here in America, this is what you’ll find. The city that never sleeps, aka New York was crowned as being the U.S. city to have the highest density of bars. According to Alpha Travel Insurance, there are 875 bars within the Big Apple!

Looking at 100 of the top cities on Earth, New York wasn’t the only American city to make the top ten. According to the study, Chicago managed to sneak in at the 9th spot with 517 bars. Does this surprise you?
