A Couple Found A Secret Camera In Their Carnival Cruise Ship Room

Carnival Cruise customers Dana and Chris White say that they found a hidden recording device in their cruise ship room last October.

In an interview with Inside Edition, the couple alleges that they were on a three-day cruise on the Carnival Fantasy when they spotted a small camera tucked in amongst their television’s wires. Though the cruise line claims that the device was not connected to an electrical source and wasn’t capable of recording, the couple says otherwise.

“It was a camera,” Chris stated. “It was wired up. It was working. It was warm to the touch.”

Chris filmed a cruise line employee as he dismantled the device and insisted that it was fully operational before it was disconnected.

Carnival responded to the situation by issuing the following statement:

“The safety and security of our guests and crew is of paramount importance and we have taken measures so that this sort of situation does not happen again.”

The recording device was released to the FBI for further inspection.
