This Epic Road Trip Across The U.S. Will Take You To The Best Breweries In The Country

If you’re happily riding the craft beer wave, this incredible brewery road trip across America could be the perfect way to beef up your bottle cap collection.

When RateBeer published their latest annual ranking of the best breweries in the world, the people at Flowing Data worked their magic to determine the most efficient way to visit all the best breweries in America.

The result? One epic road trip that will take you to 70 breweries on a winding trip through 40 states. It’s a journey of over 12,000 miles.

This trip will not only take you to well-known coastal breweries, but you’ll travel across the country with stops in places like Asheville, North Carolina for a taste of Wicked Weed beer and Kalamazoo, Michigan for a drink at Prairie Artisan Ales.

Of course, the tour will also take you to famous breweries like Smuttynose, Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada.

Visiting the breweries in person means that you’ll get to try limited-time batches and sip your favorite brews fresh from the source.

You’ll want to set aside at least 20 days for this trip. Eight of those days will be devoted to driving, and it’s likely you may need some recovery time as well if you decide to do the entire road trip in one go.

If you think you and your liver have what it takes to tackle this monster brewery tour, check out the map from Flowing Data and read their description of the road trip here.
