A New Amenity Could Soon Show Up In Airplane Bathrooms

The recent Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany revealed that some airlines may be considering adding bidets to their on-board lavatories.

For those not in the know, a bidet is a type of sink that you sit on in order to clean yourself after using the toilet. Many include different spray settings or vertical jets to help the users cleanse themselves effectively.

Now, Zodiac Aerospace has introduce a bidet model created specially for plane bathrooms. It includes an adjustable and retractable water spout, easy maintenance, and even special disinfectant UV lighting.

Many Americans wouldn’t even know what to do with this contraption, as bidets are far more popular additions to bathrooms in Asia and Europe.
