The TSA Just Named This East Coast Airport The Best In The Country

If you’re looking for a stress-free, seamless airport experience…well, you probably won’t find it. However, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says the next closest thing is happening over at Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS).

The TSA has just named Massachusetts’ largest airport as its 2018 Airport of the Year. The administration cites Logan’s rapid growth – it’s the fourth fastest growing in North America – and low average wait times as indicators of its superiority. In fact, the average wait time to get through security is just under 10 minutes.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Logan was also named an “Innovation Airport,” which means that the TSA will now consider the airport to try out new TSA screening technology.

Hats off to Boston Logan International for keeping travel as painless as possible!
