This Cruise Line Is Now Brewing And Canning Its Own Beer At Sea

Relaxing on vacation with an ice-cold beer is a real treat, especially if that beer has been brewed just steps from your stateroom.

Carnival Cruise Lines has just launched its own private label of craft beers. The coolest part? These beers are brewed right on board the line’s Carnival Horizon and Carnival Vista. Since the first brewery opened in 2016, they’ve served 300,000 passengers.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Now, the cruise line is making the leap to canning their beers and offering them for sale on the ships. The brews are crafted using seasonal ingredients and inspired by classic holiday destinations. You can grab ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat, ParchedPig West Coast IPA, and ParchedPig Toasted Amber Ale.

These beers would make the ultimate vacation memento, as they’re not available on land. The canned beers are scheduled to launch soon and will be available in 16-ounce cans. If you’re not lucky enough to be sailing on the Carnival Horizon/ or /Carnival Vista/, you can also find the beers on tap on all other Carnival vessels.
