This West Coast Airport Is Getting A Food Hall That Will Make You Want To Skip Your Flight
San Fransisco International Airport is about to get a food hall that will be a dining destination in its own right.
Starting in mid-2018, this California airport will be the home of the Manufactory Food Hall – a massive dining space packed with exciting restaurant options like local favorites Cala, Khao and Tartine.
The food hall will have a 3,200-square-foot domain and include a full service bar and both sit-down and fast dining options. It also seems that shopping space is in the works, though details regarding retail options have yet to be released.
While airplane food is still working to shed its miserable reputation, it seems like airport food is becoming pretty crave-worthy. With airports all over the country looking to tempt travelers into retail storefront and high-end restaurant, it may be just a matter of time until we start thinking of airports as destinations in themselves.
