This New Luxurious Air Craft Is Like A Cruise Ship In The Sky

It may look like something out of a Jules Verne book, but the Airliner 10 is very real and very cool.

This hybrid airship is like a cross between a plane, a palace, and a blimp. Known as the Airliner 10, the craft is 302 feet long and larger than the world’s biggest passenger plane.

It can host 19 passengers in its 10 (!) bedrooms, and comes complete with a bar and lounge area. The walls and parts of the floor are glass, so passengers can admire the view from 16,000 feet in the air.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

The Airliner will eventually be available for three-day excursions, during which guests will eat, live, and sleep on the ship between exploring exciting destinations.

However, it may be a few years before this experience is available. The craft needs to log 200 incident-free hours in the sky, and it has had a few bumpy landings and crashes. Here’s hoping they sort out the bugs and get this floating mansion into the sky as soon as possible.
