You Can Soon Watch Live TV On This One U.S. Airline
We recently talked about how Economy Class passengers flying with American Airlines can now pre-order their in-flight meals, but this isn’t the only new perk that American Airlines is rolling out for its fliers! The carrier has now announced that in 2019 it will be bringing Live-TV to more than 700 of its domestic planes. Keep reading to find out what channels will be available next year.

Free of charge and soon to be available in 2019, American Airlines will make live TV streaming available to fliers. If you read up on travel news at all, you may be familiar with the fact that American Airlines has been vocal about how they intend to continue removing seat-back screens from their existing planes. So the only twist to the carrier’s new perk is that the live TV streaming will only be available on your own devices.
Available to stream on your laptops, phones, and tablets, American Airlines will offer a total of 12 channels that you’ll have access to. All you’ll need to do is have the American Airlines app downloaded on your flight before you take off, connect to the Wi-Fi, and choose Live-TV on the app. The channels available on domestic flights will be Bravo, CBS, CNBC, Disney Channel, ESPN, Fox, NBC, NFL Network, Telemundo, TNT, and USA that are all powered by DISH.
