Why You Definitely Should Not Be Dreading Winter In Texas
While most Texans break out their winter coats when it gets anywhere below 65 degrees outside, you can’t help but love everything that comes along with winter. The Christmas lights strung up on all the houses outside. The Christmas movie marathons on Hallmark. The delicious smells coming from the kitchen, because comfort foods and cold weather go hand in hand.
Plus, if you live in northern and western Texas especially, you will most likely see snow multiple times throughout the season, and no one can deny the beauty of a winter wonderland right outside their window. To showcase why you shouldn’t totally boycott winter in Texas, I’ve found some gorgeous photos of wintertime to get you excited for the next season!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
