The Beautiful Waterfall In Texas You Can Actually Swim In
I know I’ve written about Hamilton Pool several times, but this article is looking at it from a different angle – I’m focusing on the breathtaking, 70+ foot-tall waterfall that cascades into the pool from the limestone overhang above. Hamilton Pool is essentially a waterfall that you can swim in, and lucky for us, Texas weather allows us to enjoy it all year long.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Hamilton Pool is located at 24300 Hamilton Pool Rd., Dripping Spgs, TX 78620.
Have you ever been swimming at Hamilton Pool? Are there any other waterfall swimming holes in Texas?
