This Ridiculously Fun Waterfall River In Texas Is Perfect For A Summer Day

What if you could slide down a waterfall? Sounds like a crazy dream, or at the very least, a death wish…so you’d think. In Texas, you can do exactly that – 100% safely and legally. There’s a section of the San Marcos River called the Rio Vista Falls Dam with three unassuming waterfalls that are actually slides. This is real life, people, and you haven’t truly lived until you’ve experienced it yourself.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. If you rent tubes from Lions Club, this is the end of your journey - but the fun has really just begun.

There are three consecutive waterfalls that are actually slides, and they're TONS of fun for all ages.

Think of the river leading up to them as the calm before the storm...and brace yourself to be plunged down three sets of raging rapids one after another.

Make sure your little ones have life jackets, as the bottom of the slides where all the water is churning can be treacherous.

But no worries - as long as you use common sense, all you'll be worrying about is how much fun you're having!

The park has picnic tables, a concession stand, and even grills for barbecuing, so you can make the fun last all day.

You CAN'T tell me this doesn't look like an absolute blast.
