Frio River Treetop was a private vacation home before being converted into a resort for all to enjoy. Whether you use the venue for a wedding, birthday party, or just a summertime family trip, your stay here will be one you won't soon forget.
The lodge sleeps 14 comfortably, with three bedrooms and a loft. Nine beds total are split between the rooms, and two more people can sleep in the living room on a sofa chaise and chair with ottoman.
You'll enjoy a full kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and toaster oven as well as a second kitchen in the great room. A second full-size fridge with freezer is located in the outdoor laundry room as well.
Upstairs, you'll a loft with a gaming table, four chairs, a flat-screen TV, and - get this - a pool table that converts into a dining table! Kiddos will love hiding out up here (and they'll hardly ever have to bother the grown-ups since they can eat their meals here).
The two full bathrooms have marble tiled walk-in showers, so you'll feel like you're staying in a five-star hotel. Who knew a treehouse could be so luxurious?
Perhaps the most exciting part of the entire resort is the treetop deck, situated in a giant cypress tree 40 feet above the river. Relax in cushioned chairs around a campfire and tell ghost stories while eating s'mores and marveling at the breathtaking Hill Country sunsets. There's even a tiki torch-lighted walkway that connects the deck to the lodge!
You'll have easy access to the river below with rock steps leading down into the water. Feel free to fish, swim, or soar through the air and make a splash with the rope swing!
